The Muslim Jesus

Class Description

Who was Jesus, peace be upon him?

More than 1/2 the world claims to believe in him or follow him in some way. Most Christians today claim that he is Divine, while many historians are unsure about even what we can know about him.

It is only through preserved Divine Revelation, the Qur’an and the sayings of the last Messenger Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that we can know the truth about Jesus, the Messiah, the son of Mary, a Messenger to the Children of Israel, may the everlasting peace of Allah be upon him and his mother.

Join this class to learn about the miraculous birth of Jesus, his life, his sayings, and teachings, and about his return to the Earth during the end of times that we are awaiting. Don’t only learn about Jesus, but truly and deeply connect with him. Through connecting with him, you will get closer to your Creator and to the last and final Prophet, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, whom Jesus lovingly referred to as “Ahmad”.

This class will utilize the relevant Qur’anic verses, as well as the book “The Muslim Jesus” by Tarif Khalidi and “Walk on Water: The Wisdom of Jesus from Traditional Arabic Sources” by Hamza Yusuf. Take this class to connect with the true Jesus and his true message.

None required. You can enroll in this class without having taken the previous part.
