New Muslims Program Part II
This is PART II of our prized and core program for new Muslims and non-Muslims who are interested in learning more details about Islamic beliefs and practices. Continue to learn the essentials of belief, practice, spirituality, and character in Islam. Topics covered include the following: attire, character, food (halal and haram), hajj (pilgrimage), marriage, social interactions, and zakat (charity). Questions and discussions are encouraged throughout the class. This is the final part of the New Muslims Program. Students who took PART I are highly encouraged to now take PART II and graduate from the New Muslims Program! However, you are more than welcome to join PART II even if you have not completed PART I as the classes need not be taken in order.
Class will be instructed by Ustadh Tariq Ameer and will be held on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm weekly from February 20 to March 13. Each session will be recorded. As such, for those who are tardy or absent, links to access the recordings will be sent via email.
Financial aid and payment plan options are also provided. Please note that if approved then financial aid will cover the entire cost of the class and can only be applied towards one class per semester per student. With a payment plan, the registration fee will be broken down into installments to be paid on different dates to ease the financial burden on the student.
If you wish to apply for either, please select either option, “Financial Aid” or “Payment Plan”, best fitting your situation and complete the registration process. Once complete, our registration team will contact you via email for the next steps.
